A Look at Gotham- Season 1, Episode 14: “The Fearsome Dr. Crane”

We now get a two-parter on Gotham. “The Fearsome Dr. Crane” introduces us to Gerald Crane, father of Jonathan Crane, who we know later becomes The Scarecrow. Fear is one of the episode’s themes as we see it play out for various characters and how they’re motivated by fear. Though Crane himself is a creepy man, his storyline wasn’t the most interesting part of the episode for me. Let’s meet Dr. Crane.

A Look at Gotham- Season 1, Episode 12: “What the Little Bird Told Him”

So “Rogues Gallery” left things on a cliffhanger with Gruber and Helzinger making their escape. It had the potential to do something interesting, but a lot of what we get is dull, to be honest. At the same time, we see Fish finally make her move against Falcone. Sounds captivating, and this subplot was a bit more entertaining to watch than the stuff involving Gruber, Helzinger, and the GCPD, but even then, nothing that really wowed me.
